With more than 15 years of experience as a litigator, Magistrate, and Senior Judge, Eleanor brings deep insight and empathy to every family law case. As a skilled mediator and dedicated advocate, she’s focused on achieving the best outcome while always seeing and supporting the person behind the case.
Eleanor was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and obtained her law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.
An innovative and experienced attorney, Eleanor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the family law practice, with extensive experience as a Magistrate Judge presiding over matters in all areas of family and juvenile matters. This experience has given her considerable empathy and understanding, allowing her to care about more than just the case, but the person behind it, too.
After serving as a Magistrate, Eleanor became, and still is, a Senior Judge presiding over matters throughout the State of Indiana. She is also a Registered Domestic Relations Mediator. She is a skilled negotiator and has proven time and time again that her expertise gives her an advantage over the situation, allowing her to bring the other party into agreement.
Eleanor has more than 15 years of experience in litigation, judicial proceedings, client management, and as a lead attorney in both State and Federal jury trials. Adept at presiding over complex cases, she has conducted depositions, issued legal rulings, and managed a caseload of 100+ active cases. Eleanor has a proven ability to develop mitigation strategies, pragmatic policies, and align legal strategy to drive positive outcomes. Never one to shy away from a trial, Eleanor is willing to do whatever it takes to get the outcome you deserve.
In addition to her extensive legal experience and capabilities, Eleanor excels at connecting with people, embracing diverse perspectives, and being a fearless advocate for her clients.
She is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Eleanor resides in Marion County and is a proud mom of three children. She finds tremendous joy in supporting them in their academic and athletic pursuits. Eleanor has a long-standing commitment to community engagement. She has contributed to various civic leadership projects, including service as Board Member for a residential housing complex and former President of a Federal Credit Union for a faith-based community.
