Kimberly Lytle is the lead family law attorney at Banks & Brower, LLC. Kim has handled hundreds of family law cases across the State of Indiana. Kim believes that as a family law attorney, part of her job is to counsel clients to resolve issues without legal intervention. If we cannot reach resolution, Kim will fight for her client’s rights through the litigation process. Kim finds that the hardest part of any family law case is explaining to clients that even in the best of scenarios you are losing time with your children, losing assets, and trying to find a way to deal with a person that, in most cases, you would prefer to ignore. Family law matters are often emotional, difficult, and messy. Kim helps families restore dignity to this process, and helps clients adapt to the new family dynamic that they are facing.
Kim practices in all areas of family law, including divorce, paternity, custody, adoption, guardianship, protective orders and Child in Need of Services (CHINS) actions.
Prior to joining Banks & Brower, Kim worked at an international domestic relations litigation firm as well as managed her own firm in Grant County, Indiana. Through those experiences, Kim developed invaluable skill with relating to clients and developing legal strategies to fit circumstances unique to each case. Kim was born and raised in Fairmount, Indiana. Kim and her family presently reside in Sheridan, Indiana. When she is not working, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and trying her hand at arts and crafts (unsuccessfully). Kim received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her legal education from the University of Dayton School of Law.
