Banks & Brower, LLC Announces its First Annual College Scholarship

 
Banks & Brower, LLC takes being productive and active members of the community very seriously.  In support of that effort, we are announcing our 1^st annual college scholarship.  We will award a $1000.00 scholarship to one student to help with the student’s post-secondary school expenses.
The scholarship is open to all high school seniors regardless of income or GPA.  You must meet ALL of the following to qualify:
 
a)      You must be a senior graduating from high school in the class of 2013;
b)      You must be graduating from a high school located in Hamilton, Marion, Johnson, Hancock, Boone or Hendricks Counties;
c)       You must have been accepted to a 4 year accredited college or university;
d)       You must have suffered a demonstrable, significant event in your life that you have persevered and overcome. (for example death of a parent, personal serious illness or disability, abuse etc.).
e)      You must not be related to any employee of Banks & Brower, LLC law firm.
 
To apply for the scholarship please submit the following to Banks & Brower, LLC Scholarship Application  3802 W. 96^th St, Ste. 210  Indianapolis, IN  46268:
 
a)       An essay detailing your goals and aspirations, as well as an explanation as to how you qualify under paragraph “d” above; please include how you overcame your specific circumstance;
b)      Two letters of recommendation;
c)       A copy of a letter of acceptance to a college or university as described in paragraph “c” above;
d)      Submit the application no later than June 15, 2013.
 
The recipient of the Scholarship will be announced no later than July 1, 2013.
